Our driving instructors are friendly, easy going and professional and they conduct either hourly driving lessons or sometimes semi-intensive driving courses which can sometimes be spread over a much quicker period, whichever is best for you and they will guide you through every stage of learning how to drive.

The majority of pupils arrange their driving lessons as one or two hours per week, however there are people who may wish to learn over a quicker period, this is often called an intensive course or quick pass course, quite simply this just means you getting all your training arranged over a much quicker period.

Your best way forward is to arrange your first 'Two Hour Lesson' which will give our driving instructor a chance to assess your current skills and then discuss various training options with you.

 

Friendly Instructors

We've studied some websites of other driving schools in Preston, Blackpool, Chorley, Leyland and Blackburn and noticed that a few of them state an exact number of hours that you will need to take on their driving courses before taking your driving test. This advice should only be taken as a rough guide because it is not always possible for any of the driving schools or their driving instructors to accurately predict an exact number of hours that you should take before you pass your driving test, for example some pupils improve rapidly after only a few hours of training, whereas other pupils can struggle with certain aspects of learning to drive.

Remember that when learning to drive the most important thing is for you to become a very safe driver, passing your test first time is just a natural progression of you becoming that safe driver. After passing your driving test you can improve your skills even further and possibly get a reduced car insurance by taking a Pass-Plus Course.

 

SEMI - INTENSIVE COURSE

Maybe you don't have time to spend months learning how to drive.

Or it could be that you have a job lined up and need to learn quickly.

If so then a Semi - Intensive course may be just perfect for you.

You might be a beginner or maybe you've already taken quite a few lessons, or you may have even taken a driving test before. Whatever your level of experience our driving instructors in Preston will give you good sound advice as to what is the best way for you to learn to drive in the shortest time possible.

Please Note:
Unfortunately semi-intensive driving courses are not always suitable for everyone. Some people may wish to learn to drive quickly but they might not have the necessary aptitude to develop the skills required over such a short period. Therefore so that our instructor can determine what is the best way for you to learn to drive it is necessary for you to book a two hour assessment lesson.

The assessment will determine 3 very important points.

1. Are you a suitable pupil to learn to drive on an intensive course.

2. The number of hours required to get you up to the test standard.

3. Do your times available match up to that of your instructors times.
